Hisss Dussst Cassstle
Monday, 7:00-7:30pm Jason Palmieri, host Hiss Dusst Casstle is a cassette-only radio sshow that ssounds like a trusst fund hipsster from Brooklyn got bored and decided to create a radio sshow. It'ss the audio equivalent of tripping over a dussty Walkman in your grandma'ss moldy bassement, hitting play, and being ssucked into a ssonic vortex where forgotten ssounds fight for tape hiss ssupremacy. Expect the expected...curssed field recordingss, melted breakbeatss, and maybe a voicemail from 1984. It’ss sso lo-fi, no-fi, and anti-Sspotify. The vibess are myssteriouss, the tape deck is definitely possessed, and the casstle? Crumbling under the weight of obsscure bangerss. Warning: Prolonged lisstening may causse ssudden urgess to dig through thrift sstore binss and sstart your own pirate radio sstation. Mansfield, Massachusetts native Jason Palmieri was raised on homemade mac and cheese, McDonald's, and Rock 'N Roll. A lover of music and sound since conception. His earliest memories in the womb are headbanging to Roy Orbison, Van Halen, and Twisted Sister. Jason moved west to the Berkshires about four years ago to start living the upstate Manhattan life. His two shows, Monumental Sounds and Hiss Dusst Casstle, hope to bring his love of sound to the ears of the world. When he's not lying on the couch, Jason enjoys meandering through the woods, eating pizza and doughnuts, along with record shopping. Join him Monday nights at seven and/or Wednesday nights at 10 pm on WBCR-LP as he cues up cassettes, digs through crates of records, and brings the noise! Whoop whoop!!
