Giving You The Business (starting June 22nd)
Friday, 5:00- 6;00pm / Rebroadcast Monday, 5:00-6:00pm

Ian Jarvis's live, call in show, will give WBCR listeners the opportunity to tap into Ian's extraordinary knowledge about driving successful companies and careers. Whether you're an entrepreneur or executive, whether you want to understand how to start a business, rescue one, scale it up or just get through a crisis, Ian will help. If you're at a crossroads in your career, have a boss making your life a misery or just got a job offer you're not sure about, Ian will give you simple, practical answers and an action plan to move forward.

At 31, after eight years on the run in Europe and North Africa as an escaped federal
felon, Ian Jarvis decided to return to the US and face the mess he left behind. He
wanted to beat a seven-year prison sentence and find a way back on the rails of the
American dream. At 32, Ian.talked his way into his first job as a salesperson for French
multinational, Saint Gobain. Hired to open a new market in America for SG's fragrance
bottles, Ian was so successful that eighteen months later, he was named VP of the
entire US division. His career took off, culminating in the sale, two decades later, of his
own company - CMI, manufacturing plastic packaging for Fragrance / cosmetics - to
another multinational, Pechiney.

There were multiple offers to re-create that level of success for other firms in the
industry, but he turned them down and embarked on a new career, consulting to
executives in businesses large and small, about their leadership skills, language and
culture.

Ian's memoir, The Escape Artist, is set for publication this summer.
