Local actress Sally-Jane Heit will perform her one woman play, Before I Forget… A Memoir with Music, as a benefit for the Guthrie Center on Sunday August 8, 2010 at 6pm. The Litchfield Jazz Festival returns on August 6, 7, and 8 for its 15th Anniversary, honoring the legendary Dave Brubeck in his 90th year. It will be held in the air-conditioned Springs Center and on the campus of Kent School, both in Kent, CT. Featuring the Dave Brubeck Quartet, Béla Fleck, Arturo O’Farrill, Anat Cohen and many others, the festival also offers an opening night gala, crafts, fine art, free music clinics and jazz talks and more.
