Programmer Issues
The programming committee reviewed one policy violation in the area of studio security.

Policy
The programming committee did not review, propose nor alter policy during November.

Hate Speech & Sensitivity Guide/Lines Review Working Group
The programming committee is looking into forming a working group to review and weigh hate speech/sensitivity guidelines v. policy; preserving freedom of speech and meeting BCRA mission to promote access of under represented voices through non-violent community; and make recommendations for clarification of sensitivity guidelines.  We request time on a board agenda to determine if this will be limited to on air conduct and thus initiated by PC, or organization wide and initiated by board.

Deadline and Training Schedule
Due to the impending move, the programming committee has delayed the deadline and training schedule for the upcoming term.  This will be announced to programmers and a press release written.

New Applications: New applications will be accepted until February 1st and required to fit into existing openings on the schedule. There will be graduated start dates and training for those programs/programmers set over the course of the term with the commitment that all new programs will be up and running no later that June 1, 2008.

Reapplications:  The schedule will not be revised for the Feb-May term and thus no program changes other cancellations will be accepted from programmers reapplying for on air access. Reapplications will be due January 7th.  Current programmers will still need to complete the 6 volunteer hours required during fall term for continued on air access.

Training:  we have asked a forming group of trainers to set a training and orientation plan for new studio and new programmers for Feb-May term.  Group will be lead by Ben.
