q   Develop survey to collect show repeat data (NR): To be discussed with item 8.

q   Healthy Connections Prerecording Check In (NR): Programmer no longer doing show.

2.  Programs/Programmers, 20 min.

  And So It Flows:  4/1/08 show. Programmer did not self-report the mention of prices and a call to action.  Ananda infomed programmer.  Dan will excerpt the show and send to committee.  Ananda will contact programmer and invite to the next PC meeting.   

  Healers Connect:  Programmer requested permission to interview a guest who is also to be her new business partner.  Unanimous vote against this.  This individual can be a guest on someone else켒s show.

3.  Music Director Update, 5 min.

Letter sent out to committee.  Link to playlist type-in added to browser.  PSA issue to be resolved.

4.  New Programmer Training Update, 5 min.

Coming along.  Ananda put together a check-off chart.  Manual in the works. 

5.  New Applicant Liaison Update, 20 min.

Judy not here to report. 

6.  Program Director Update, 5 min.

Receiving reapplications.  Positive feedback regarding the self- evaluation.

7.  Review Guest Cheat Sheet Revision, 10 min. (12/18/07)

Tabled.

8.  Programmer Absentee Policy 20 min.

It is clearly stated in the on air agreement that programmers are allowed three absences per term.  Committee voted to clarify the existing absentee policy.  Day captains must be notified.

Discussion: how to handle programmers who did not fulfill volunteer obligation.  The following was set forth unanimously:

If a programmer had no volunteer hours:  off the air for a term and welcome to reapply after putting in 6 hours by September 1, 2008.

1-2 volunteer hours:  lose 4 shows at the beginning of the term (June 1, 2008).

3-4 volunteer hours:  lose 2 shows at the beginning of term.

5 volunteer hours:  O.K. for this term only.

The lost shows will not be filled by prerecorded shows, but by automation.

Discussed and voted on:  If a programmer does not hand in a self-evaluation, their application will be considered as if it were late.  In other words, completed applications (and this includes the self-evaluation) get priority scheduling.
