Tasks:
∑ Saturday AM Audio Hijack settings:  Deborah sent an email to Scott
∑ Policy reminder: Ananda wants to inform board.
∑ Online program listing edits: no progress.
∑ Online calendar:  in progress.
∑ In-Active Programmers on ONAIR: Done.
∑ On Air Protocol Feedback Request: Not done.  Dan will email to pc for review asap.
∑ Final draft policy comprehension quiz: Not done. (Agenda item tabled.)
∑ Description of Agenda Item for Membership Meeting to Don: Done.
∑ Anonymity & Accountability Tweaks Email to OnAir: Done.

Programs/Programmers

∑ Simons Rock Middle East Forum:  Not done.  Assigned to Nick.
∑ Truth Search:  Programmers did not set alarm after show because they did not have their code and had not been trained to use the alarm.  They are accustomed to a programmer arriving after their show.  They did call Frank, but not the day-captain (Ananda) to inform of problem.  Leaving station empty without setting code is a 3-point violation.  Committee voted to decrease it to 2 points for self-reporting.
∑ Holidays: Please remind programmers you talk with to keep their day captains informed of any schedule changes for their show that might come up with the December holidays.

Israel-Palestine Forum Update

Working group would like to first air the SimonҒs Rock panel discussion and then look into having a forum.  PC agreed and will revisit a possible forum in January.

Listener Comment Line

Judy was unable to get the password and proposed to send email to ONAIR asking if anyone has it.  Ben had indicated that we need to set up a whole new mail box on that line.  Ananda will assist Judy to identify the people with the power.

Hate Speech/Sensitivity Policy Review working Group

Discussion ensued: benefits of forming a working group on this issues with limited pc membership and including programmers, board members and general membership. WG would review and weigh issues of guidelines v. policy; preserving freedom of speech and meeting BCRA mission to promote access of under represented voices through non-violent community; make recommendations for clarification of sensitivity guidelines. 

Action: request for time on a board agenda to determine if this will be limited to on air conduct and thus initiated by PC, or organization wide and initiated by board.

Blast Email Protocal:

Tabled.

Self-Promotion/Commercial Speech Membership Meeting

Scheduled for December 6, 2007.  Ananda and Nick will present the information and Deborah will moderate.  Nick, Deborah and Ananda will meet beforehand to prepare.

Peer Review:

Tabled. To take priority at next meeting.

Programmer Blog

Several ways to go on this: 1.) whole new blog, (with or without a moderator), 2.) front page of website, (requires a moderator), 3.) use a special category on the current PSA blog, 4.) adopt new positions for a Music Director and Director of News and Current Affairs, that could moderate such a blog and post selected posts to front page. 

Action: Revisit.
