Programmers and Programs:

- julianne hiam has decided to keep her show through this term

- larry chernicoff is assigned three points for the commercial speech violation occurring at the farmers market. he has been

contacted to that effect and has responded.

- The aquarian hour: ananda will announce to programmers that forestҒs timeslot is open for fill-ins until she returns in late august.

discussion of policy regarding lengthy absences to appear on next meetings agenda.

- the sunshine show: marybeth merritt to discontinue her show immediately due to personal issues.

- spekdrum: justin johnson has discontinued his show immediately. followup with todd at next meeting.

- de boca en boca: a caller complained about racey content of show airing (possibly july 4th). ananda to find translator to review

show. ben to contact maria and erica to gather further details and invite them to the next programming meeting.

- taking aim: due to two complaints over the past two weeks concerning the content of the program ғtaking aim, jim stark (the

syndicated programԒs sponsor) was invited to attend this meeting to join the discussion concerning these complaints.

ananda has met with andy potter, paul rapp and jan seward to discuss the public relations and organizational aspects of these

complaints.

committee decided 4 to 2 that the episode in question violated wbcrs sensitivity guidelines

discussion of consequences tabled until next regularly scheduled meeting.

ben to include disclaimer to taking aim playlist immediately.

rebuttal time will be offered to complainants on a monday at 11am.

ananda will discuss rebuttal with todd and jan to coordinate.

saturday day captain:

ananda to announce saturday day captain opening to programmerҒs list.

captains to meet and review applicants, set up interviews/ process.

application collection:

committee to use station website wiki to track programmer re-applications.

new programmer training:

todd to coordinate for all new programmers.

policy comprehension quiz:

nick developed policy comprehension quiz for new and continuing programmers.

committee members to take quiz to evaluate and submit to nick for grading. feedback and discussion of implementation at next

meeting.
