II Programs/Programmers
- De Boca En Boco: what happens when day captains donҒt follow through?  Dan suggested that we recruit a Spanish speaker to the committee.
- Taking Aim:  Discussed the issue of problems with the station ID.  All agreed to 3 points for station ID violation if it happens again.
- Israel-Palestine Forum:  Deborah will work with Larry Bronstein to find eligible people to discuss issues.  Larry knows a woman who consults with radio stations regarding programming issues.  Deborah will encourage Larry to speak with her and then the committee will decide whether or not to invite her to a meeting.  Ananda said Nick would like to work with Deborah on the forum.
- Healers Connect: Committee listened to segments of a show (8/3/07) that are in question regarding promotion of a guest.  Committee agreed that self-promotion policy was violated.  Todd will talk to Scott (day captain) to talk to programmer about the issue and notify her about point violation system.  Scott and programmer are to be invited to the next Programming C. meeting on 9/4.
-  The Aquarian Hour: Ananda did not speak with programmer.  This is programmerҒs 9th week of no program.  This past weeks absence was not posted.  Ananda will contact programmer and invite her to next meeting regarding the possible 2 point violation.
- Radio 2 Women:  Programmer was present.  Committee listened to 1st segment of show in question and not concerned (re: Berkshire Theatre Festival); listened to 2nd segment of concern where price of WBCR CD was mentioned.  Committee agreed on 2 pt. violation (vs. 3 points because of self-reporting).  Programmer accepted.
- Story Time Access Code: Todd and Asa will get a code and take care of this.
- New England Artists Show Case: clarification from Deborah that the program ending was effective immediately.
- Nick Ring: self-report of lost/misplaced keys and numerous phone calls to get let into the studio prior to his show.  Committee agrees that it is a ғpoor planning issue.  Committee agrees to NO points in violation this time.
- Dr. Nod: Committee did not find the word ԓmasturbate in the context (a song) as a violation of any sort.
- Caribbean Beats: Ananda to email programmer re: international calls and FTP and to cc Deborah (day cap).

III Schedule
- Committee reviewed the lists of new programs and of programmers requesting changes.  These changes were made on the WBCR-LP, 97.7 FM Working Fall Schedule 2007.

IV ToddԒs announcement:
- He will leave the programming committee to oversee a process to assign and enforce the 6 volunteer hours programmer requirement.
- - All agreed that 6 volunteer hours should be required.
- - Ananda suggested that if a programmer has extenuating circumstances that prevent giving 6 hours, s/he should bring conflict or problem to the committee to be reviewed by members.

V New program descriptions:
- It was clarified that they come off of the application directly and will need to be given to the appropriate parties for inclusion on the new schedule and website.
