1- Serene reviewed the fundraising event she and Jan Seward held around the topic of women in politics.  Event raised $765.  Price was $35 per head, but some gave more.  Event generated a number of new members.  Food and beverage were donated by local businesses so the cost borne by Jan and Serene was modest.  J&S plan for more events, and are thinking of topics for their next event. 
2- The CafePress web site now has WBCR stuff on it.  We need to add more, and make it professional and get the word out.  Noted that individual shows could have stuff also on the WBCR site.  Radio2Women, Phat Man, and more have sites, and could have stuff.  Also noted that the board voted to fund an effort to have localy produced shirts.
